IT Cosmetics IT’s Your Bye Bye Breakthroughs!

TODAY ONLY you can go to qvc.com and check out the IT Cosmetics™ IT’s Your Bye Bye Breakthroughs! set which features 5 products for a very discounted price.

The products included in this set are:

1. The Bye Bye Makeup 3 in 1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm which is my favorite way to remove makeup. I've mentioned this product on my site several times in the past, and I continue to use it daily. It removes the toughest makeup, like waterproof products, and a little bit goes such a long way. My skin is so soft afterwards it feels like I've used a mask!

2. The Bye Bye Lines Serum; I'll be honest, I don't really gravitate towards anti-aging products, since I'm still pretty young but it's never to early to take care of your skin. This serum feels smooth and weightless on my skin, and I like applying it under makeup.

3. The Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination is one of my favorite concealers, as I've said before. The shade matches me well, and not only does it conceal my imperfections, it adds brightness to my skin giving me a natural glow. AND It's available in 2 new shades! My main gripe with IT Cosmetics is always the shade range so it is great to know that the brand actually listens and tries to cater to the needs of its customers!

4. The Bye Bye Pores Illumination is a BRAND NEW product and I am already impressed. I've said before that the Bye Bye Pores translucent powder is my favorite powder ever, but this Illumination version might have just knocked the original off it's top spot! When I use this powder over any foundation, it not only sets my look, but gives me that "lit-from-within" glow that I struggle to achieve. I use a lot of matte foundations since my skin is oily, so my skin can look flat or cakey after application, but this powder adds that light and dimension back into my face. I'm very impressed if you couldn't tell from my raving.

5. The Heavenly Skin Brushes are SO SOFT. I think I have said that for every one of these brushes that I've reviewed, but seriously every person I have used this brush on or given this brush to as a gift has nothing but positive things to say about it.

I have tried all 5 of these products before, so I can say without a doubt that this set is an excellent value! Be sure to go to qvc.com ASAP to take advantage of this deal! These products have a $207 value and you can get all of them in the next 24 hours for $80 so don't wait!

IT Cosmetics IT's All About You! Customer Favorites TSV 3/18/17!!!

Hello! I'm back with another amazing deal from IT COSMETICS. The IT Cosmetics IT's All About You! Customer Favorites set is available right now on qvc.com for $59.94 plus shipping. It has a retail price of $185, so check out my thoughts on the products below. It might be a must-purchase.

This set comes with the following products:

1. The Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara: I've already talked about this mascara so much on my site, but I love it so much. I already used it everyday prior to receiving this box, but I am extremely happy to have a backup. It is an excellent all around mascara, and I highly recommend it.

2. Je Ne Sais Quoi Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatment in Rose: I love the Hydrating Color Awakening Lip Treatments so much! I was super happy to try the new shade, Rose, because it adds a nice rosy tint to the lips. I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but these lip treatments make my lips feel softer than any product I've ever tried.

3. The Your Skin But Better CC+ Illumination in Rich: This is another excellent product. It has great coverage, lasting power, and skin care properties. My only gripe (as usual with many IT Cosmetics face products) is that there is not more shade ranges available. This product comes in 5 shades, but Rich is the darkest shade, and I feel like there could be a few more darker shades.

4. Heavenly Skin CC+ Skin Perfecting Brush: These brushes are the softest brushes ever. Every time I get one it pains me to use it at first because they look so perfect.

Overall this is a quality set for an amazing price. Make sure you check out qvc.com TODAY ONLY to get these products!!

Hiatus: Where the Heck Have I Been

Long time no post. I could sit here and type up a million excuses, but the main reason I haven't been blogging is because I didn't feel like it. I could say that I was too busy with school and work, but if I can find the time to watch netflix, I can find the time to blog.

Lately my passion for blogging has been low and I'm not sure if this is a result of english classes sucking my creativity dry, or writing for other publications, but I think turning this blog into a catch-all for all of the things I do will make me actually feel driven to write, and share my thoughts on all of the beauty products I use daily.

You're probably wondering what I mean by a "catch-all" blog. Makeup isn't my only passion. I also love writing poetry and short stories, and have been really into drawing and painting lately. I think it would be interesting to incorporate all of the creative activities I participate in onto this site, so in the next few months it's getting a remodel.

That being said, I JUST GOT THE NEW LAURA MERCIER MEDIUM/DEEP TRANSLUCENT POWDER AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SHARE MY THOUGHTS.

Clearly makeup still excites me, but I just don't want to feel as limited. And I definitely don't feel like making another website just for poetry and short stories and a different site for art and etc.

e.l.f. Voxbox November 2016

Influenster has allowed me to try their latest Voxbox (if you don't know what influenster is, click here), and this one features E.l.f. products. I've been using Elf for so long- probably, since I was in middle school, and watching there products evolve from the Elf essentials line, to these new line had been interesting. The products in this box are supposed to be geared towards healthy skin, so if you want to know if these actually did anything for me, keep scrolling.

E.l.f. Hydrating Bubble Mask: This product is so weird. A good weird. It's like any other mask that you spread all over your face until a few minutes pass and it starts bubbling. Such a strange sensation, but I enjoyed it. This bubbly foam is supposed to remove excess dirt and cleanse pores. My skin does feel very clean after I use this, so it does what it claims. Also the packaging is cool. The product pumps out the top so it's sanitary. Overall, I think this is a fun product to try if you deal with clogged pores, but it's nothing life-changing if you don't have an issue with that.

E.l.f. Mineral Infused Primer: This primer claims to make your skin silky smooth for makeup application, and this claim is very accurate. It feels like your average silicone primer, and if you like that texture then you will probably enjoy this primer. I don't usually like slippery, silicone primers, but I still tested this anyway. It makes my makeup last longer, and I notice my skin got less oily throughout the day. I might have to suck it up and deal with the texture. There's nothing really wrong with it, just a personal preference. Also, it's important to note that his doesn't feel slippery once you put makeup on top of it. And this primer comes in corrector shades as well.

E.l.f Matte Lip Color: I got this in the shade Wine, which is gorgeous for fall and winter (you can see a swatch below). I like that this product is matte, but not super drying. As long as I exfoliate, my lips still look nice and smooth with this product on, and it lasts for several hours. I wish this shade was a little more opaque, as I felt like I had to go over my lips in a couple layers to make the shade even. Other than that, I really like this product, and I can see myself buying the other shades.

E.l.f. Lip Exfoliator: I was so excited to try this because I've heard so many people rave about it. It's so nice to have a lip exfoliator in a tube form because it isn't as messy. I just work this onto my lips and it buffs away all the dead skin. This is a great prep product for matte lipsticks, and it's cheap!

E.l.f. Baked Highlighter & Bronzer: Or should I say Highlighter and Highlighter because both these shades can work as a highlight on my skin tone. As you can see from the swatches below, these shades are pretty. They are a tad flakey since the product is baked though. Wetting your brush transforms this product. I don't have a swatch of the product wet right here, but take my word for it- wetting your brush transforms any baked product! I do like this, and it lasts pretty much the whole day on my face. I'm interested in trying their other baked highlighter shades.

Hope you enjoyed these quick reviews. If you try any of these products here. I'd recommend the lip color and the lip exfoliator. Have you tried any of these products?
