This eyeshadow is part of Mary Kay's limited edition line for spring and it cost $20. It is one pan of eyeshadow, but their are three different shades contained in the pan. I like the packaging. It is small and compact, so it's great for travel. It can also be placed in Mary Kay's refillable compacts if I want a mirror.
The top shade is a bright, lime green color; the middle shade is a light, bronzy, brown; and the bottom shade is a vibrant, medium blue. All three shades are shimmery and have great color payoff when swatched on top of a primer, which you can see in the swatches below.
Each of these colors looks very similar to how it looks in the pan, except the green is a little lighter and brighter when applied to the skin.
Earlier in the week I wore these shades so you could get a better idea of how they look on the skin:
Here I applied the green shade in the inner half of my eye. You can see that it definitely looks lighter than it did in the pan. I am wearing the blue on the outer part of my eye, and the light brown is on the inner part of my eye near my tear duct (the darker shade in my crease area is Urban Decay's Twice Baked eyeshadow). I also put each shade on my lower lashline, matching them with how I applied them to my eyelid.
Overall I am happy with how well these shadows performed! The color payoff was very nice, and I did not have to work to get the colors to show up vibrantly. These also lasted very well with a primer. By the end of the day my eyes looked the same as when I applied them! I wish the price was a little cheaper, but I think this is worth the price. The eyeshadows are definitely good quality.
