Review: Mary Kay At Play Jelly Lip Glosses
Mary Kay has come out with this new line called Mary Kay At Play that features fun, colorful products geared towards the younger generation of women. The first product I have tried from this line are the Jelly Lip Glosses:
These retail for $10 and come in 4 different shades: Teddy Bare, Hot Tamale, Berry Me, and Crushed Plum.
Since these are Jelly Lip Glosses they don't have the opacity of regular lip glosses like the ones in Mary Kay's regular line. As you can see from the swatches above they almost have a clear look to them with a tint of color, which makes them a lot more natural looking on the lips than a more opaque lip gloss. I think these are nice especially for people who are afraid of wearing a lot of color on the lips.
These lasted pretty well on my lips for a lip gloss, due to the fact that they are a little sticky. These lip glosses glide on easily though and are very comfortable on the lips! I also enjoy the color selection. I think all of these would work well on any skin tone!
Overall I really enjoy using this product, and I have nothing negative to say. They feel nice on the lips, last a nice amount of time, and I like all of the different shades. I like to use these on days where I have on hardly any makeup. I also really like to use these when I have on dramatic eye makeup and want more toned down lips. A lot of people prefer bold lips, so this isn't for everyone. I do recommend these if you enjoy a more natural look though!
What do you think of these Jelly Lip Glosses? Are you going to try anything from the Mary Kay At Play Line?
