Last Thursday when I was doing my makeup for Thanksgiving I decided to go for a neutral but festive look using cranberry and gold shades from the Sigma Paris Palette.
When I first purchased the palette around September last year, I used it all of the time! But as I added more palettes to my collection it got used less and less until eventually I stopped using it on a regular basis. I was actually inspired by the #tbt or #throwbackthursday trend on twitter and instagram to use makeup that day that I haven't used in a long time! I may start a blog series soon doing that every week, but until then, heres my eye makeup for last week:
It looked slightly darker and more vibrant in person, but you can see here that I used Versailles all over the inner half of my lid, and I used Notre Dame on the outer half. Then I used the reddish-cranberry color, Elysees in my crease and deepened the outer-v with Eiffel. I also used Elysees on my lower lash line.
You can check out my review on the palette from last year to see what colors I'm talking about.
I used Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner pen to do the winged liner, and Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil in Zero is on my waterline. The mascara I used is Benefit They're real.
I hope you enjoyed this neutral, wearable look! Do you have items in your makeup collection that you used to love, but don't use anymore?
